Effective date: August 12, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the websites, landing pages, forms, and communications of Fidence Tax Relief ("Fidence," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our Services or submitting your information, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Fidence Tax Relief is the tax-resolution service line of Fidence Tax and Advisory, a DBA of Fidence LLC, a private tax-resolution firm serving Northern California. We are a private firm and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the IRS, the California Franchise Tax Board (FTB), or any government agency.
We help individuals and businesses understand and address IRS and California FTB tax matters. Our website and initial consultation are informational. Nothing on our Services creates a client relationship. A client relationship is formed only upon a signed written engagement agreement between you and Fidence that describes the scope and fees of the work.
Any examples, options, or programs described (such as levy release, Installment Agreements, Currently Not Collectible status, Penalty Abatement, or Offers in Compromise) may not apply to you and are not promises of results.
Information provided through the Services or an initial consultation is general and does not constitute legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice for your specific situation, and should not be relied upon as such until you have engaged us under a written agreement.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services and submit information to us.
Fidence Tax Relief offers an SMS program for consumers who opt in. This section describes that program and its terms.
Program description and message types. When you submit a form on our website and check the SMS consent box, you agree to receive text messages from Fidence Tax Relief related to your inquiry. Message types include: consultation scheduling, appointment confirmations and reminders, service and case updates, responses to your questions, and — where you separately opt in — occasional informational or promotional messages about our tax-resolution services.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us.
Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
How to opt out. You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP. After you send STOP, we will send a confirmation message and will not send any further messages unless you re-enroll. For help, reply HELP, or contact us at [email protected] or (925) 405-6124.
Carrier liability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Consent. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. For details on how we handle your information, see our Privacy Policy. You may also opt out of email at any time via the unsubscribe link.
You agree to provide accurate information and not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with their operation, or to submit content that infringes the rights of others.
All content on our Services — including text, graphics, logos, and design — is owned by or licensed to Fidence and is protected by applicable law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute it without our written permission.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fidence and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to us, if any, for the service giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fidence and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
